Today's devotional thought

Today's devotional thought :    O house of Isreal, cannot I do with you as this potter? Saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand. (Jeremiah 18:6)

THE POTTER AND THE CLAY :    “The potter makes a pot with the clay as he wish, while the clay has no words to complain and choose itself at what design he has to be made..When a lump of clay that the potter designed seems too stiff, or had a stone in it, or came to be marred in his hand, the potter turned it into another shape just as seems good. One turn of the hand, one turn of the wheel quite alters the shape of the clay, makes it a vessel, unmakes it, new makes it untill the potter designed met its end.““Our God has both an incontestable authority and an irresistable ability to form and fashion His children as He pleases to serve His own purposes. It is indeed a very easy task with God to make what use He pleases of us.Just as the clay remain silent in the hand of the potter, we are in the hand of God.His turning of our life wheel alters into a motivated lives, our hard hearts like a stone He will destroy through His mighty power.Let us be silent before Him till we transform completely according to His purposes.

TODAY'S PRAYER

TODAY'S DEVOTION

Yea,though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Psalms 23:4)

GOD'S LEADING HAND:    Dear friends, i would like to take this opportunity to share  how God really leads me as Psalmist says..“It was way back in the year 2009, a pregnant HIV/AIDS infected case, illiterate, living in a very low standard  full  term pregnant women came to met her first new born child in the Hospital (Kangpokpi Christian Hospital) where i serve. “Unfortunately the women was reffered to a well equipped hospital where all facilities of Personal protective equipments(PPE) wore by the medical staff in the process of conducting labour are available as our hospital do not have. Suddenly I felt a heart of insisting which i never experience before to take care of the women. An hour of my duty timing comes to over, but couldn't leave her. I called up my husband requesting him to drop the patient by our car to the place where she was  supposed to be referred. He came over and all was ready for traveling. By then, I felt another insist to go along with them thinking, whether or not she will be well cared with just a thousand rupees at hand? Whether or not the nurses and Doctors touch her with compassion? What if she delivered on their way? All those thoughts compel me to join them though there was no space left in the car... 20 minutes after traveling, an insisting push arouse my mind to check her out, i do so and to my surprise, both legs were delivered, the head being struck inside (breech presentation).. I shouted and stop the car wondering how was she been silent untill I myself see! She told me that she do not even know when was it delivered, with a single hand gloves I have, I delivered the head, tie and cut the cord and removed the placenta no matter it was inside car and on the highway, just a cloths being used as a privacy, I complete the process of delivery without any complication...The car was filled with fresh bloods not knowing what to do...That was the moment God speak to me in these verse from *Psalms 23:4* People passing by were scared and worried about the consequences that could fall on me after some years. I felt it was God who insist me, whose rod that comfort me.That was the valley of shadow I go yet i was not fear, for He was there beside me as being my PPE....I prayed saying, Lord, if u wish me to suffer an HIV/AIDS just because of helping the poor and needy, its Your wish! I was filled wit happiness on  seeing the cheerful faces of the women and her husband. We praise God together thanking Him for He does not put them to shame by reaching another hospital where they will never ever get a proper care...“After all was over,we drop her till her home which was 10kms far more..““*Dear brethren, There is no evil in it to the child of God; death cannot seperate us from the love of God;it kills the body, but cannot touch the soul.Though i am in peril of deadly dreadful disease, I am easy.Praise be to His name for although i was in the pool of HIV/AIDS blood, He keep me safe from the disease thus far.I know God is going to lead you too in many valleys of death you've been going through.Commit your life, trust and obey in any way He sents you. May God bless you all
